Hi, I know its still well over 10 and a half months early, but has anyone else signed up to walk the wall? I signed up for this amazing challenge(well for me, it is)in April this year! Hoping to give myself plenty of time to train and raise funds! All in aid of my local Hospice(St David's).
I have been trying to train and have lost almost 3 stone(with some more to come off too!)and have been on long walks uphill and downhill, but as yet have not walked up mountains, but hope to go up Snowdon when weather gets better(June, maybe)!
Im also hoping to take some time to walk over a few days in order to get ready for next October!
Please, if anyone out there has signed up for this trek, or have done the trk, get in touch!
Cheers
Angie

Hello Angie

I have just seen your post and would like to say Hello. I am also registered for the trek in Oct. I am from the Uk but now live in Fl USA. My friend who lives in the Uk asked me to do this with her. I am really excited and looking forward to the challenge. I know you posted this in November so you are probably well on your way with the training now. It would be nice if we can stay in touch and keep each other up to date with our training.

Hi Victoria, sorry for being so long in getting back to you, but computer went awol!
Hows the training going?
Whats the charity that you and your friend are doing this challenge for?
By the way, where in the UK is your friend?
The weather is getting better nw, so I can start to do some serious training now, try for this weekend, up over the mountains, hopefully 7 or 8 miles!

I have planned a big walk in June as part of trining for the trek- 60 miles over 3 consective weekends in June! Only 10 miles a day!!!
Yes, it would be nice to keep in touch! By the way my username has changed slightly but its still little ole me!!!!
Bye for now

Hi tracy,

Are you in Wales, if so whereabouts, as maybe we can do Snowdon together?

I'll be joining you on the Trek in October. I'm from the UK but working in Italy at the moment. Not really sure what to do for training though I'm determind to start early morning jogs very soon (tomorrow).
Fundraising not going so well, probably because I'm over here and all the fundraising ideas and goings on are UK bound.
I'm doing the trek for Candlelighters, a children's cancer charity as they helped out my family when my youngest sister had cancer at 18 months old.
Keep Calm and Carry On
