Hi Kirsty. As far as the practice is going is that at this stage I have to keep asking Katie to slow down, so I'm heading down to local beach later to tackle the sand dunes!

Im lucky enough to live near the peak district, last week i went hill walking however the weather closed in a bit, so i got down pretty sharpish. Ive also done the 17 mile high peak challenge and the 34 mile round chesterfield walk in my time (I didn't do all 34 in one day though) im expecting Iceland to be way tougher though so i still need to do some more training...

Looking forward to meeting you all not long now...

Steven

Haven't even thought about packing yet -still feel like its ages away which is silly. Better get a move on! Looking forward to meeting everyone. We'll be flying into Heathrow day before so will come around even sooner for us. Lots of rain forecast, I see.   Mary

Hey!

How is everyone? Im looking forward to the trek but I'm actually quite nervous now! I just wondered if anyone was getting train from Coventry/Birmingham to Heathrow on Saturday? Would be nice to have some company if so. Kirsty x :-)

OMG I am starting to pack and feeling pretty nervous. Never done anything like this before. Have done quite a few long day walks in a variety of weather but still not convinced I've done enough!!! Am I the only one???

No! You are definitely not the only one! I'm very nervous too! All I've done is a few walks round my local area and I have never done anything like this either! Im also bit scared of flying!!

How are you getting to Heathrow? I shall be getting a train. The trek seems to have come around so fast!

I'll see you on Saturday! Lookin forward to meeting everyone! xxx :-)
